i always thought that the story should have been shelby still being the killer but also being Ethan's brother or friend or maybe even his dad, and just how you said, the police would blame Ethan for jason's death (probably being something like ethan actually turned Jason's head into the wheel making his death make sense) and he would get a few years in prison before getting released and moving back in with Shelby and shawn in a shitty little flat until suddenly one night shawn just disappears and Scott is convinced that the origami killer is the one responsible for his disappearance (because he's still the killer). With that, maybe Ethan would team up with his reporter friend or previous crush or wife, Madison, to find where Shawn could be because Ethan doesn't trust the police but at the same time understands why they imprisoned him, all while Shelby is in the shadows, covering his tracks and silently torturing Ethan, maybe a motive could even be that he was like the hated child and Ethan was the loved one (I don't know just writing down my stupid thoughts here). And the FBI agent, Norman Who Gives A Shit, would be a background character who is a friend of Shelby and is unknowingly helping his plan in some way. Ethan would go through all of the traps and stuff, do some other shit, whatever, and then get to Shawn where Shelby was waiting for him with a police sqwad to arrest him or something unless you got a good ending where Ethan finds out that Shelby is the killer and would expose him right there. I just realized how long I've been writing this bullocks, god I need some sleep oh and the *Are you alright?* would still be in there 100%

I used to love Beyond Two Souls until this came out and then I loved the shit out of this one, until now just realising there's so much wrong with it the androids hate humans, but become them. So in a few years time humans stop attacking humans because androids, humans qttack animals, humans and whatever they want its human stupidity, but yeah that all changes. I'm sick of the real life references in this game. Alice I hate, hate, hate. But yeah I really hate it, it sucks bit I still like it somewhat. Just wondering when we'll get a great game.

Huge plotholes, extremely dumb intro death, which made me unable To finish it. I decided to replay last year and as a dad now, I was in shambles and I actually connected with it a fucking lot. Games are just like movies or books, sometimes they just need to hit you at the right time. (Still dumb death and huge plotholes though) 😂

I honestly adored Observer, and I loved the detective aspects. What I DIDN’T like were the visuals. How jarring and even nauseating they were. The ‘night vision’ mode barely worked as such, and the electrical vision was extremely ugly at times. Furthermore, while the detective gameplay was extremely neat, there wasn’t a lot of it. (The base game only had TWO side cases alongside the main one, with System Redux adding in 3 more.) Those parts of the game were unquestionably the best, yet I wish there was more of it. However, the monster sections, with the exception of the ending one, were boring and just unnecessary. Honestly, if Bloober ever makes a sequel, they should ditch the monster, add more detective cases and side quests, and also be more subtle with its imagery.

I didn't have too many problems with the Dreamcast version, besides the framerate, and the bug on the Tetra's factory never happened to me, that section still sucks anyway, but maybe I was lucky due to I was playing it on OG hardware with GDemu on it, but I like the story, I didn't consider it the worst aspect, cause is a mess in terms of writing, but I still found it enjoyable cause of how stupid it is, I liked it, personally the weakest part of this game is the combat, and probably this is due I played this game on Dreamcast, but many of the moves are so delayed or unresponsive, and enemies when they do an uppercut, they still can block your attacks in mid uppercut animation, is so janky and broken that my best option was to use low kicks or slides to properly damage the enemies, I respect this game for what it is during it's time, and what tried to do, but it really has too many problems in the gameplay scenario, besides that I still enjoy it, I think is a good game, but there's better games with these kind of ideas and concepts, and better options on Dreamcast, PC, PS1 during this era.

10K is huge. It's definitely not a "made-up goal" it's worth celebratng. It's 5 digits. And it's probably the most important milestone before 6 digits. I think 10K represents that the foundation is complete. That you have something you can really build off of.

I used to play this game at my cousins house and I think the novelty of the jrpg genre as well as the ost and the fact that I never got to play enough of this game because I was never at my cousins house often enough to get my fill of this game places this game in the highly nostalgic category for me in my memory. I’d still like to play this game someday but Ive never owned an Xbox

I only started playing walking sims about a year ago. I think I always avoided them because they were '"not real games". But that isn't really the case. They just don't have much combat or fetch quests. And that isn't really a bad thing. The only positive is that I have had a nice chunk of them to try that are a few years old and typically on sale. I will list a few of my favs not in this video for others: Close to the Sun (tesla on a ship). Fobia St. Dinifa (hotel with hidden machines in walls and stuff: will need wemod for the small but terrible combat scenes). Maid of Sker (imprisoned siren curse on hotel). Paradise Lost (alternative nazi history bunker but also futuristic). The Invisible (stanislaw lem story. gorgeous) and I have Those Who Remain but haven't played it yet but hear good things. Wish someone would make the tv series 1899 into a walking sim. I want more ship walking sims.

I bought it a week before it got delisted (unknowingly lmao) and i do not regret it in the slighest. It's one of my favourite rpgs (i play a lot of rpgs), and honestly the iffy voice acting and jank add to the charm and experience for me. It's the most unintentionally camp game I've ever played.

I heard the theory that Kamski knew what he was doing, and he is a psychopath that made a secret code that gives android's sentent. And It would be cool if we would explore that more, and have more hints to that then just some animation and Kamski secret ending that doesnt say much. But was I the only one who thought that Kamski was weird? But not like cool weird, like odd weird. And remebmer bad Kamski test scene? Thi's is my revrite of this scene Kamski tell's Connor to take a gun and destroy Chloe for information. Connor stars annalising what to do, sience androids cant use guns but sience it's under human supervision and owner of Chloe is fine with this, and Connor is programed to do everything for the sake of investigation. But also he has to listen to Hank. So he has the right to choose, but then Chloe starts freaking out screaming and "crying". Her led turns red and she screams PLEASE DON"T DO THIS! Freaking players out so some of them would pull any button out of stress and if Connor shot's Chloe Kamski would be like: Negative you don't have empathy. But if you spare her, she would came back to normal end still act like robot. Kamski would then say, Fascinating, I didn't expect the newest prototype to not know the diffrence bettween codded emotions and real one. Previous models couldn't see emotions at all! I would count this as a success, but at the same time, it makes you defective Tehn Connor replise "Im not a deviant!' Then Kamski says, No do. "Defective" thats not the same as "deviant" (Maybe throw some reference to diffrence between life like and alive, from West-World) Then Kamski explainded that Connor saw Chloe's fear, and spared her, so he does have empaty for those who suffer, but he doesn't see android's emotions as any diffrent then human one. He could also say more about "Deviancy" begin a virus or mutation from the orginal code. Showing that they are emotions from comends that they system learned, it was not coded by human like the one with Chloe. He would say that he coded Chloe to copy human emotions but the didn't know how to get rid of the Valley effect, But he worked on the code that helps android learn new things and he didn't expected that it will come this far. Then at the end of the game, it will turn out that he made that code. That so called "code of soul" the RA9 virus. And in Kamski ending it would turned out that he was expecting the war to break out. And why does he do that? Cuz unlike Carl who saw humans as weak machines and belived in peacefull world with both humas and androids, Kamski just hates humans and belive's that androids are the next part in evolution. And if the rebelion of androids fall he would just consider it a faliure and come back to cyberlive to get rid of any evidance of what he did, and in fiew years, maybe he will try again.
